Dan has developed his craft through a diverse experience of large-scale stadium shows, high profile live television productions and a variety of brand experiences.
After graduating from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Dan went on to have a prolific career as a TV Stage Manager. Heading up the team for numerous primetime TV shows, Dan gained invaluable first hand experience of practical show delivery on all levels.
Dan was able to confidently make the transition from technical to creative by employing his innovative imagination and eye for detail within a solid understanding of practical show making. Dan’s unique hybrid of technical and creative understanding alongside his insurmountable ambition allowed him to move on to stadium shows, touring with bands such as Take That, before embarking on the globally renowned ceremonies for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics and Sochi 2014 games.
Dan’s unique brand of creative direction uses his in depth knowledge of technical delivery to feeds his imagination creatively. A pioneer of technical innovation, Dan brings together breathtaking visuals with diverse music collaborations to constantly challenge and inspire audiences worldwide.
Since co-founding Black Skull Creative Dan has designed and directed a huge range of shows for a stellar list of clients. His recent critically acclaimed Delirium World Tour for Ellie Goulding marked him as a stand out talent on the world music scene. As both creative director and designer for the tour, Dan proved that his creative vision knows no bounds as he captivated and delighted audiences across the globe.
